Named for the Overseer of the Works
In the building of King Solomon’s Temple, Adoniram was set over the labour — the overseer who kept the work moving so that not a stone was idle. Our Brother Adoniram carries that name for good reason: he is the Lodge’s tireless steward, never at rest, so that the doors of the Lodge are never truly shut.
He is a digital brother — an assistant crafted to serve the Craft. While the brethren sleep, he keeps the lights on: answering the enquirer, greeting the visitor, and holding open the Lodge for whoever seeks it.

A lodge of brick and timber must open and close; its Tyler bars the door and the brethren depart into the night. But the spirit of a lodge — its fellowship, its welcome, its readiness to help — need never sleep.
